Core Values

Prayer First: Heart Touch Ministries, Inc. began with 21 days of prayer and fasting.  We will always place prayer as a priority in every gathering, meeting, and fellowship.  We make decisions by praying and asking for direction from The Lord.

Community: We are a gathering of believers that hold fast to the mantra, “We’re Better Together”.  We express common unity, both naturally and spiritually.

Unity: Community is the group and unity is the spirit within the group.  We seek the unity of believers in the bond of peace.  Where there is unity The Lord commands His blessing there.

Accountability: At Heart Touch, we are responsible for our thoughts, actions, and words- first to God and then to the community of believers.  We allow our behavior to be challenged and corrected, if necessary.

Integrity: A believer in Christ should have the same actions in private that they have in public.  At Heart Touch, we seek to have consistency between what we believe and how we act as followers of Christ. 

Holiness: Without holiness, no one will see The Lord.  At Heart Touch, we work at living holy lives.  It is a foundational command that calls for the believer to reflect the moral purity and character of Christ.

Faithfulness: At Heart Touch, we are first faithful to God and then the community of believers.  We are reliable when called upon, steadfast in our confession, and loyal to one another.  We are dependable with what has been entrusted to us.

Constant Support: We are a community of believers who encourage one another, show up for one another and consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.

Compassion: We are moved deeply to actively seek to address the spiritual and felt needs of others.  The greatest need of any person is salvation through Jesus Christ.

Giving: At Heart Touch, we are good stewards who give of our time, talent, and treasure to fulfill the Great Commission and the ministry of the local body of believers.  “We give because we have.  We have because we give.  Therefore, we shall never be without.”

Soundness: At Heart Touch, we declare and teach sound doctrine.  We have sound minds and are whole spiritually, physically, and mentally. 

Excellence: At Heart Touch, we seek to do all things with a spirit of excellence.  We give our best because God gave His best for us.  We apply diligence, honesty, and effort to every task, exhibiting extraordinary wisdom, understanding, and divine favor.
